Intermediate Visual Communication Design courses are designed to build conceptualization and critical-thinking skills, as well as learning advanced software techniques. Students develop the ability to create visual solutions such as: ideation, creative use of typography, and constructing layered meaning with images and text. Emphasis also includes: learning professional standards in the design industry; understanding the role of a designer; and examining the creative process specific to client need.
