Advanced Digital Photography investigates different ways of creating imagery through the use of technology. Students use the computer, traditional cameras, scanners, video cameras, digital cameras, the Internet, and other mechanical/technological devices that create imagery. Students are expected to be very experimental and are encouraged to take risks in their “ways of seeing.” Image manipulation, questioning reality, improvement of technical skills, process-driven artwork, and collaboration are some of the issues that are addressed in this course.
