Today, we had the students work in groups to discuss the following issues (they used this handout as a guide):

1. What type of image of themselves do they want to use on-line? Most students felt a photo of them working would be best. We have been very careful about placing recognizable images of students on-line. We have discussed issues of privacy and how to best represent oneself as an artist / business person. I will take a variety of shots of each student working and they will choose the image to use on their web page.

2. The students are generating four questions that each student will answer. Again, issues of privacy were discussed. Instead of the students writing short bios, we determined questions would be more interesting and appropriate. Working in groups the students are working on four questions that will be fun, insightful and creative.

3. We discussed how to document your creative work and why is it important to do so.

4. Lastly, we discussed the value of artistic work and how to price the jewelry.
